South Korea FULL ITINERARY (Cherry Blossoms 2018)

Just probably like any other travel rookie, budgeting and planning your itinerary might a little bit be challenging. I admit that I spent Php 93,000 in my first trip in South Korea (Seoul and Jeju Island) in 2013. We were on a guided tour, which somehow justifies the ridiculous amount. Moreover, we took an economy flight via Philippine Airlines (plus our airplane ride to Jeju Island). However, had we known how to research and do a DIY itinerary back then, I bet that could have been lowered by thousands.

Anyway, to cut the long story short, I am sharing with you our South Korea 5-Days Itinerary during the Cherry Blossoms Season. I have a disclaimer though that we were not able to follow everything in the DIY itinerary perfectly, but we still somehow managed to do the majority of the activities. In terms of consistency, you may also notice from the sequence of blog posts that I've also switched some activities for efficiency. Likewise, you may notice that I just indicated a KRW 12,000 placeholder for all lunches and dinners. The itinerary neither reflects the exact amount of what we ate nor show what items we shopped for, but this itinerary presents an ideal picture of more or less the general budget and activities of an efficient traveler, like me.

This DIY itinerary has a spending budget of Php 25,596, which includes all meals, accommodation, Klook purchases, and other miscellaneous expenses. I've decided to exclude the airfare, since this may vary per traveler. And since South Korea is make-up heaven, I allocated Php 10,000 for shopping and pasalubong. All in all, I spent more or less Php 35,000, excluding airfare for this particular trip.

Okay, I know that Php 25,000 may be a bit shocking, but remember, I travel efficiently, but I take into consideration comfort, tools, and a little budget for that instance when you just feel 'lazy-to-walk-and-just-decide-to-take-the-cab-instead' moments. Moreover, I want to eat GOOD food when I travel. I don't normally settle for convenience store food just to save money. Oh come on, you're in a different country - the least you can do is do your tummy a favor!

So there, I hope this will be a useful reference for your South Korea trip! Be creative, bold, and daring!

Feel free to comment down below should you have comments or suggestions to make this itinerary better!
